Press on the screen and hover a little over it without touching the screen as well The main screen now is at the res size of the tab, which is 1680x1050, so you'll get two black bars at each side of your screen depending on how big it is (standard 1920x1020, like mine, again). It doesn't matter really but it's just how I think it is supposed to be selected.ДЄfter pressing that magical button, you'll notice your main screen fading to black shortly and the tab getting a taskbar and actually 'cloning' your main screen. What you want is clone display, with the drawing tab as the secondary (in my case, 'TV + Monitor') output (basically, tab after the +, main screen in front).

If it's background without taskbar and green light, it's the extended desktop option with both the TV and monitor, in my case, priority on TV. If it's a red light and black screen, you only chose to display on your main screen. One of them should be highlighted with a 'check' symbol вњ”, showing which one you are currently using. Since my main screen is an actual TV, it's 'Monitor', 'digital TV', 'clone displays' and 'extended desktop'.

Now, if your setup is like mine, you'll get an option to select the monitors. You should get another few options that you can chose from again, getting more and more specific with each step. Hover over something alike 'output in', or however it translates to the German version. It should link you to another 'section' that you can chose from. Take a look for a section called graphic options and hover over it. desktop with no task bar, or a black screen and a red light. Sorry that I can't support this with images, my screen capture button is kinda faulty, my OS is 7, in German, but not complicated at all, so maybe it'll be a little different because it's Win10, but the concept should be the same.ДЇirst things first, hook up the tab with all the cables (should be power, blue USB and DVI, so 3 in total) press the start button and you'll either see a green light and a wind. Well that sounds much like my first experience with the GT-190, so maybe you've just gotta do what I did (after panicking a lot haha). When I switch USB ports, I see windows installing a 'tablet monitor' driver. When I unplug the USB cable, I hear the 'device disconnected' sound again.

So I unplugged and uninstalled, then reinstalled the drivers before plugging USB back in but the result is the same.Д¬an anyone help me out? Until this is fixed or returned I'm stuck with what's effectively a very expensive 900p monitor.Д®DIT #1: When plugging in the USB cable, I hear the 'device connected' sound, followed immediately by the 'device disconnected' sound. I have read that some issues were caused by plugging in the device before installing drivers, which I had done. I currently have my display hooked up with the USB in a connector that works with anything else I use and a dual link DVI (it has no trouble displaying anything.) Lastly it seems as if Windows doesn't even recognize it as a tablet, with none of the usual annoyances I had with my old Wacom Bamboo (RIP) when Windows decides its own drivers are better, though to be fair I never had the chance to use my Bamboo on Win10.

I'll probably try again tonight offline with AV disabled. I tried getting updated drivers but Windows warns me that they're 'dangerous' files that will infect my computer (false positive) and deletes the installer if extracted. The instructions say to run PenDisplay to configure the 190 but when trying to launch PenDisplay, I see the windows 'busy' cursor and nothing happens. However after installing the drivers and the PenDisplay utility from the disk, the 190 seems to act only as an extra monitor. Yesterday I recieved my Huion GT-190 and I followed the instructions in the WIN booklet to set it up.

I do not want it on my main monitor and I do not want to clone my main monitor, partly because it is a different resolution.ДЄt this point, if I run PenDisplay, Windows' tablet driver silently stops working and all tablet functionality is gone.

except it only shows on my main monitor. UPDATE: Windows' tablet driver decided to take over Huion's driver and now I can confirm that the pen works and is sensed when I use it on the tablet.

UPDATE: Looks like I have it working for now! See my comment below but TL DR it was a driver update I initially dismissed as being sketchy.
